Sophia A.Y.Z.

        Born and raised at the cultural crossroads of Singapore, Sophia Ang is a Bachelor of Design in Architecture graduate of the University of Sydney. Her work explores how architecture can mediate between differing identities, histories, and contexts, combining conceptual exploration with precise technical outcomes. She works fluently across languages and cultures, communicating effectively in English and Chinese (with an understanding of Hokkien, Korean, and Australian Sign Language) to support diverse, inclusive design environments.

        With a focus on concept development, spatial design, and architectural representation, her design practice bridges conceptual exploration with technical resolution expressed through physical models, collages, renders, and finely detailed scaled models. Proficient in Rhino, Enscape, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, Autocad, and CapCut, she demonstrates strong capabilities in design iteration, visual storytelling, and documentation across various project stages.
